Surah Al-Ikhlas is the 112th Surah of the Qur’an. It is titled in English “Sincerity” and composed of 4 verses. In the hadith of Sahih Bukhari 5015, it mentions Surah Ikhlas as being equal to a third of the Qur’an.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Bismillah hir Rahman nir rahim
“In the name of Allah S.W.T, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful”.
قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
Qul huwal laahu ahad
Say, He is Allah S.W.T, who is one
ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
Allah hus-samad
Allah S.W.T, the eternal refuge
لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
Lam yalid wa lam yoolad
He neither begets nor is born
وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ
Wa lam yakul-lahoo kufuan ahad
Nor is there to Him any equivalent
Note:
(سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) S.W.T – “May He be praised and exalted”
