Bismillah hir rahman nir rahim
“In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful”.
Bismillah hir rahman nir Rahim is mostly recited during obligatory prayers before Surah Fatiha and before reading the Holy Qu’ran.
Generally, Muslims should recite Bismillah hir rahman nir rahim before starting any task or chore. It simply means, “I perform this action in the name of Allah S.W.T”.
The only chapter of the Qur’an where one does not recite Bismillah hir rahman nir rahim is at the beginning is Surah Tawbah.
